TITLE 1

Title 1

Title I is the largest federal aid program in our schools. Title I provides additional resources and instruction to improve the educational performance of low achieving children in high poverty schools. Its goal is to help those children meet challenging state academic content and performance standards.

2019 DESE Report CARD

Report cards are important tools for communicating with families, community members, policymakers, and other stakeholders about school and district performance. Report cards help families and the general public see where schools and districts are succeeding and where there is still work to do. The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education annually prepares report cards for each public school and district in the state, and districts receiving federal Title I funds are required to distribute report cards to parents/guardians of all enrolled students.
